Beautiful, powerful , and functional, this is a real hunting knife also recognized as a true Huntsman's weapon. designed for those hunters who buy and use such specialized blades. Also known as a " Couteau De Venerie," Hunting Dagger " or as a 'Pig Sticker," in the US. The unique blade shape is a combination of a classic design mixed with a dagger. In true European hunting traditions, hunting knives of this type are used to finish off the game so as not to prolong its suffering, as opposed to American hunting knives which are typically intended for skinning game after the kill.
This model comes with a 8-5/8" blade made from 1/4" 440C steel stock with a mirror polish. Black micarta handle with deep grooves. The solid brass pommel has two opening to tie up security laces, while the knife has a double brass guard for hand protection.
