Description:
Most first model 1894's had octagon barrels. This gun has the correct Winchester front sight and buckhorn rear sight. Very good bore. Wood retains most original varnish and is complete with rifle style buttplate. Gun is under 400 serial number. Barrel and mag retain most toning blue. Receiver retains about 25% blue turning a silver color. Excellent action. Fine screws. Nice clean original first model!
