Description:
From a local sale, a Winchester mdl 88 Red Letter mfg in 1966 as near as I could tell. 85% blue, worn only in the carry area of the clip and lever. Stock has one small flaw (shown) where the butt rubbed against a hunting knife handle I assume. Otherwise very solid with only small dings etc. from hunting use. Wood is much darker than most pics show. the shot of the buttplate shows the true darkness of the walnut. 22" bbl with trail dust around the rear sight I see now. Bushnell 3X9 Trophy scope.Shows well and in a lesser found caliber. I already have a 284 in a Ruger 1A or I'd keep it, love that caliber for all around here in Wyoming.
