WW2 GERMAN MAUSER S84/98 K98K BAYONET & MATCHING SCABBARD BY DURKOPP WERKE, CIRCA 1935. Extremely nice matching condition with "S238G" (g code from 1935) and made by Durkopp Werke. Matching 'WaA229"(also Durkopp assigned) waffenamts on flashguard, pommel and scabbard finial match. Matching serial numbers and unit/rack numbers("N.237") on blade, hilt and scabbard. Original blue finish on all metal parts never been cleaned. Original false edge to blade. Original wood grip panels expertly inletted(typical of pre War) and unturned screws holding them. Scabbard excellent with no dings or kinks. Nice example.
