Description:
SOLD Colt AR-15, model SP-1 semi auto carbine chambered for .223. This is an original SP-1 with a 16” C MP CHROME BORE barrel and original “bird cage” flash suppressor; fixed front sight with bayonet lug. The frame has an integral carry handle and NO forward assist. Factory collapsible stock, original rubber cover pistol grip and 6” round forearm. This is a very nice example of an early collectible AR-15 carbine. Mounted on the carry handle is a Colt scope, 3x (I think) which is not as clean and neat as the rifle! The screws on the scope have been “buggered” and there are some scratches..optics seem good.
