Description:
This 7.7x58mm Japanese Arisaka Type 99 bolt action rifle was made by the Tokyo Juki Kogyo arsenal and is a series 37 line up. It has a blued 26” blued tapered round barrel mounted with an elevation adjustable rear flip up ladder sight and a windage adjustable pyramid front sight. The bore is very good. The top of the receiver has the chrysanthemum but has been defaced. The Select Hardwood stock is in rough condition with dents and scratches and has been sporterized; you can also see where the stock was spliced on both sides of the butt. The rifle features a metal buttplate and a single military sling swivel. The bolt it NOT numbered to the gun. Length of pull is 11-1/2”, overall length is 38”, weight is 6.8 lbs.
