Description:
Gun remains, exquisite. 28" barrels, flat matted solid rib, Sidelock ejector with automatic safety, and single, non-selective trigger. Action, sideplates, top lever, tang, and trigger guard are engraved by Master Engraver Stefano Muffolini. Acanthus scroll, finely shaded, with gold blossoms, leaves, and spirals are perfectly interwoven using the imagination of S. Muffolini. A skeletonized, steel buttplate is engraved in kind, as are the escutcheons on the one piece forend, with Anson release. The straight grip, exhibition grade French walnut buttstock features 30 LPI checkering with drop points, and completes this best quality, Italian shotgun. Conditon is excellent, with only marks on trunnions and block from being assembled.
