Description:
Just received this fantastic condition 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army, which is all numbers matching, including the grips.  It is a 1913 vintage SAA fitted with a 4 3/4 inch barrel, Rampant Colt checkered hard rubber grips, round trigger guard, is blue/color case-hardened finished, and chambered in .45 Long Colt.  The gun is in excellent original condition, retaining 95% original blue on the barrel, 90% on the ejector rod housing, and about 90% on the cylinder. The trigger guard retains about 80% of its original blue finish and the backstrap about 60%.  The frame and loading gate retain 95% of their original color case-hardened finishes and the hammer 98%.  The bore looks like new and the action functions perfectly, with a very tight lock-up.  The grips fit very well and are in excellent condition, showing little in the way of wear/handling marks.  All screwheads are unmolested and all stampings on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and back-strap are crisp.  Comes with a Colt factory letter, attesting to the guns configuration, and stating gun was shipped to Krakauer Zork & Moye Company located in El Paso, Texas on March 6, 1913.  The gun was manufactured January 21, 1913.  A letter from Western Historic Gallery also comes with the gun, stating gun was sold to a James Phipps on April 10th, 1913.  A very, very nice 1st Gen SAA.                                       PRICE:    $12,995             We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual FirearmFirearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                   NOTE:  No additional fee for a Credit Card payment.
