Wait...a No. 1 Varmint with a rib? Yes, custom built, at significant expense, by Steve Heilman (Look him up) utilizing the existing scope block mounting holes in the barrel. Handsome vintage Ruger with pretty wood grain, crisp checkering and classic lines. Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x40 duplex reticle, clear optics, mounted in Talley rings. 24" Varmint heavy barrel has beautiful, crisp, clean, shiny bore and rifling from front to back. Blueing appears flawless, and the wood finish has just enough small scattered handling marks to know its been out of the safe a few times. 13-3/4" pull over the factory red pad. "Pre Warning" and tang safety. Weighs 9#9oz. Ser# 130-164xx made 1975. CA sale OK.
