If you have been looking for a pristine unfired example of a Norinco Mak-90 Sporter here is your chance. This 1993 vintage Norinco was still sealed in the original factory plastic bag when we acquired it. It was bought new by the previous owner and put up into storage, never once handled outside of the bag or fired. We cut open one end of the factory bag and took the gun out to put a coat of oil on it and take pictures. All of the little factory bags of dessicant are even still in place on the gun. It comes complete with the original Styrofoam tray and lid it was shipped in that contains a 5 round magazine, a 30 round magazine, the original military sling, the military type cleaning kit, and the owner's manual. This is one beautiful Mak-90, and it is a square-back receiver so just about any normal AK furniture will fit it if the new owner so chooses. The factory gloss blue finish rates 99% like-new, with no wear or damage. There is just a trace of a line on the right side of the receiver where the factory installed the safety lever and moved it once or twice. The magazine release tab shows no wear whatsoever (We carefully held it back and clear when inserting the magazine for the 2nd to last picture for this listing). All of the numbered parts are matching of course, and the bore is in mint condition and mirror bright. The rifling is sharp and brand new, and there are no visible imperfections throughout the bore. The bolt itself is pristine and free from any wear or stains. The gas piston is flat mint with ZERO carbon or wear on it. The internals in this Mak-90 are just as pristine and free from any mechanical or finish wear as the exterior. The factory thumbhole stock set is in like-new condition, both the buttstock and forearm are free from any wear, cracks, chips, or repairs. The factory installed recoil pad is in like-new condition and still soft. The only deductions that can be assigned to the stock set are a touch of surface rust on both the lower sling swivel and the washer in the bottom of the pistol grip, both of which are only visible under very close inspection. This Norinco Mak-90 is really as good as it gets, a true unfired "collector grade" example that would be a superb addition to any gun collection.
