Description:
20 inch barrel chambered in 30-30. Special order button mag and checkered pistol grip stock. Wood has been lightly refinished and has the high style checkering. Carbine style butt has a few mars and dings and steel carbine buttplate. Folding ladder rear and a Lyman front sight. Good bore and crisp action. Original saddle ring. Barrel retains 75-80% blue. The receiver has about 25% blue turning a plum color. Good traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Early 25k serial range. Gun comes complete with a Cody research form that lists all features except for the shotgun butt. An interesting old Winchester.
