Metal gray. Wood cleaned ready for your desired finish no cracks or chips. Really hard to find a 22short in any condition. Excellent bore and rifling. Shoots and functions with great accuracy. Metal buttplate, proper sights, 4 digit serial number. Great for restoring or simply enjoy. These are superb little rifles made from 1926-35.
