Springfield M1 Garand, Cal. .30-06, Ser. 2005954. What a great find this is. For being a World War II gun, this Springfield is minty. The receiver on this "Rack Queen" is a two tone which means the gun has not been reparkerized, which the majority of Garands are these days. The bolt, and parts of the trigger group are correct for the gun. The barrel is marked SA 12-52. The throat gauges at 3 and the muzzle 3. The bore is minty, very bright with sharp crisp rifling.
The finish on the whole rifle is easily 95+% with some slight wear on the bolt and op-rod. The walnut stock is new from the CMP and is in super condition.
