Description:
This is a factory engraved Steyr Model 1950 Mannlicher Schoenauer. The rifle has double set triggers, a claw mounted Kahles "H/4x60" marked scope along with rifle sights. The engraved receiver, floor plate and trigger guard featuring oak leaves as well as a chamois are in excellent condition. The floor plate is marked "FRITZ SCHILLING/ FRANKFURT/M. / STEYR". The rifle has a 24 inch barrel with bright gloss blue. The wood is very good with small dings and handling marks, checkering appears to have been freshened. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Scope adjustments are extremely tight and require cleaning and lubrication. Optics are poor and could use a rebuild.
