Description:
Hollenbeck Patent Drilling marketed through Hollenbeck, Three Barrel Gun Company out of Wheeling, West Vitginia and Royal Gun Company.  These are the three major gun makers that sold this gun throughout its life.  Hollenbeck patented this model on February 13, 1900.  When all of the above mentioned gun makers got out of the business, a wealthy industrialist purchased the rights to the gun and continued production and sales up until around 1930.  This gun has seen some use but still retains most of its Original Case colors on the Frame and what I believe to be the Original Rust Blue on the Barrels.  Serial # 1800, this is most likely one of the last guns produced and marketed.  12 Ga. X 12 Ga. over 32/40 Winchester.  Other Rifle Calibers were used but this was the most popular for this gun.  The wood is remarkably very good on the gun with some repairs around and above the trigger guard area as well as a hairline crack from the upper tang down past the checkering on the right side.  You will also see the stud through the cheeks of the stock which I have seen on other later produced guns. I would only guess that the stocks seemed to crack in this area if the guns were dropped.  The bores are excellent.  Not sure if the barrels are smokeless or not.  FFL or C&R Required.  Thanks for Looking.  PRICE REDUCED
