ENGRAVED British “BULLDOG” DA .44 Cal Revolver C&R
Liege Proofed Double Action Self Defense Revolver!
Here we present an engraved British Bulldog .44 Double Action Revolver, made circa the turn of the 20 century in Liege, Belgium. The revolver was a small, sturdy, well-built self-defense weapon, ideal for potent conceal and carry in the beginning of the 20th century and continuing into the “Roaring Twenties”!
This revolver features a double action trigger and five shots of .44 caliber centerfire. The top of the frame is marked “THE BRITISH BULL DOG” and the grips are nicely checkered hardwood. The entirety is very nicely nickel plated. The back of the cylinder bears a Liege proof mark.
The overall condition is fair to good. 85% of the nickel finish remains. Markings are clear. The grips are in good shape. The bore is dark with decent rifling. The action is not currently functioning.
