Description:
Very nice shape Colt 1877 "Lightning" revolver in .38 Colt. This all original condition gun retains much of its vibrant factory blue finish on the barrel and cylinder, with the cylinder frame's case colors fading to a nice mottled grey patina. Original hard rubber grips are beautiful, a bit smooth in some areas but free from dings, chips, or cracks. Sides of trigger still show areas of original nitre blue finish. All three serial numbers match. Bore is good, with visible rifling its entire length. Cylinder face has some minor pitting, but nothing extreme. Gun appears to time correctly and function perfectly. An impressive condition example of one of the most iconic frontier revolvers ever made!
