Description:
This is an odd variant of the 1873 Trapdoor in that it has an integral bayonet that slides forward from a groove in the stock. It has good blue and some of the case color is still evident. The cartouches and engravings are all legible and sharp with the exception of the cartouche above the trigger which is struck thinly.
