#4993 Colt 1878 D/A, 7-1/2”x44WCF, 38xxx range (1898) ), excellent action and bore, about an 9-1/2 on a scale of 10. Exterior has about 90-95% coverage of a 90% density bright blue, mostly just some light scratches on the receiver and some flaking on the cylinder and top strap. It also has the correct later style 44/40 logo “COLT FRONTIER SIX-SHOOTER” roll-die 100% intact. Grips are excellent, lanyard ring is intact, markings are excellent, and overall this is a really fine, FINE 117 year old double action. About antique Excellent as described and a tough gun to upgrade at anything much under $5000. A solid value at $3450
