This Colt was produced in 1916. The pistol's serial number is 412749. It has the early 7 1/2 inch barrel. The bore is bright with no issues. The chambers are in very fine condition with no wear or pitting. The action is tight showing little use. The action time is excellent. The trigger release is crisp. The grips are in fine condition showing very little wear. The diamond points are sharp with no flattening. The original finish on the grips is intact with no loss. The cylinder locks up tight to the frame with no play. The sights are original to this pistol. There is no sign of holster wear. The original blued high polish finish would rate a 97% or better condition. This is a very fine condition early Officers Model Target that has been well cared for all these years.
