This Colt was produced in late 1908. This pistol's serial number is in the smokeless frame era. The pistol's serial number is 307987. This pistol is fitted with a 4 3/4 inch barrel. This Colt is all matched numbers including the grips. The hard rubber grips show wear and use The checkering is still well defined as well as the Rampant Colt on both panels. The action works very good on all cocks. The timing is in very good time. The pistol locks up tight. The bore and chambers are in very good to fine condition. The finish is a old blue that was done years ago. The lettering is sharp on the frame. The barrel has faded lettering. This is a good looking condition pistol that will work and shoot well.
