Description:
This Winchester Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand "CMP" is a semi-auto military rifle in .30-06 Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperature rear sight. The stock is a new replacement smooth walnut pistol grip with "CMP" stamped on the left side. The barrel is stamped 8-44 with the serial number 1945 manufacture. At one time it was the standard issue rifle for the U.S. Military and it saw service in WW II, Korea and Viet Nam.
