Description:

Lucius W. Pond Single Action Belt Revolver. 5” Barrel length. Manufactured 1861-1870. .32 Rimfire. Brass frame with lever release for the cylinder and ejector combination. Cylinder has removable chambers to circumvent Smith & Wesson “Rollin White” patent for which Smith & Wesson sued Pond and Pond lost thus ending production. Bore is good with strong rifling. Action works perfectly. Brass frame has a perfect untouched patina. Grips are rosewood and they show minor nicks and dings from handling. Ingenious attempt to get around the Rollin White patent.
