Beautiful U.S. Springfield 1816 Type II Musket. The type II 1816’s were in the “brown” finish. Barrel has approximately 96% original brown finish. Lock and barrel are dated 1830. Stock is near excellent with minor handling wear. Stock has two very nice cartouches that are sharp and crisp. Very sexy 1816 Type II to own!
