Greene Breech Loading Rifle. In great condition. Only 1500 were manufactured between 1859-1860. First bolt action firearm adopted by the U.S. Ordinance Department. Barrel has a brown patina and there are traces of original bluing on receiver. Stock is good and appears to have been lightly sanded. Bore is pitted. Overall a great looking rare rifle.
