Here is a very nice old Marlin 97 with an excellent bore, solid wood, no rust or pitting, and a hint of case colors still visible (see photos). Original Marlin buttplate, sights look original. I've shot this rifle and it's a fun gun to shoot- very accurate. Shoot and enjoy it while it grows in value. I've only shot standard velocity .22s in it (as I do with all older .22s) and would recommend the buyer do the same. Standard velocity .22s fired from a rifle are very pleasant to shoot. $50 shipping and insurance via priority mail to your ffl or C&R.
