Description:
Barrel set #1: 12 gauge, 28″, 3″ chambers. Chokes are marked IC/MOD and measure .007 right and .012 left. Barrel set #2: 12 Gauge, 26”, 3” chambers. Chokes are marked CYL/IC and measure .000 right and .008 left. Square post vent ribs on both sets with single white beads, marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”. There are 3″ engraving wedges of medium scrollwork at breech ends. All bores are bright and shiny. Flat sided action featuring engine turned water table and breech face, gold-plated single selective trigger, is engraved in “21-6” style pattern with medium scrollwork and gold inlaid bird dogs on sides of action; a setter on left, and a pointer on right. Appended metal is scroll engraved to match. Trigger plate portrays a pair of pheasants in gold. Trigger guard bow has right side portrait of a pointer in gold. “GRAND AMERICAN” is flush gold inlaid on pistol grip cap with gold band around circumference. Automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Pistol grip stock is checkered in “21-B” style with Fleur-di-lis and ribbons through pattern and has a 14” length of pull over a leather wrapped recoil pad. A un-engraved gold oval is in the toe line. Matching beavertail forearms with black wood inset tips and engine turned internals are also checkered in “21-B” style pattern. Forearms and irons are numbered to the barrels. Condition: Near new showing only the lightest signs of use. There is some evidence of past corrosion on forearm iron #2. There is also some discoloration of the forearm wood. Drop at comb: 1 1/2”. Drop at heel: 2 3/4”. Weight: 7.6 lbs. Mechanics are excellent. Case has burgundy felt liner and leather reinforced corners. It is in overall excellent condition with some handling marks and very light interior wear. One key, an oiler, two snap caps and some cleaning equipment is included.
