Description:
This Parker has 28” barrels with 2 1/2” chambers and choke constrictions that measure .020 right and .027 left. The bores are clean and shiny and measure .666 right and .663 left. The barrels retain 95% of their original finish and have dual white beads on a solid rib. The rib has been drilled and tapped on the bottom for a sling mount. There are various light handling marks. The rib is marked PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN. STEEL. The #1 frame has 70% original case coloring. The trigger guard retains 40% original bluing. Double triggers, ejectors, automatic safety. The forearm and buttstock have had varnish added and have various light scratches and dings in them. The stock condition overall is excellent. Length of pull is 13 1/2” to the front trigger over a Parker hard rubber butt plate. Drop at comb: 1 1/2”, drop at heel: 3”, weight: 6.6 lbs. Mechanics are excellent.
