With its steel cased colored receiver, that is tough and rugged, and it's classic round barrel with traditional sights, this rifle is as ready for serious shooting and hunting as the originals were over 140 years ago. Great features, great quality. RECEIVER – Steel; Color case hardened; Steel loading gate; Rear tang is drilled and tapped for tang mounted rear sight (not included). BARREL – 20” steel; round with polished blued finish; full-length magazine tube. ACTION – Lever-action. STOCK – Grade II/III walnut; Straight grip; Classic rifle-style forearm; Steel forend cap. FEATURES – Semi-Buckhorn rear sight; Marble’s gold bead front sight; Color case hardened crescent buttplate, lever, forend cap, and loading gate.
