Marlin Ballard #2 Sporting Rifle in .38 Long caliber. SN #7504. 28" Octagon barrel. LOP 13 1/4". Straight Walnut stock with Schnabel forend are in very good condition for age. Metal is in good condition with usual dings and handling marks. Bore is very good for age, frosted with light pitting but strong rifling. Target front sight and Rocky Mountain style tang sight. Steel crescent buttplate. #2 on face of receiver under forend. This is an antique and requires no FFL to purchase. $55.00 shipping to lower 48.
