Sako AV Hunter bolt-action rifle in .375 Holland & Holland Magnum. 22" barrel with factory open-sights. AV long action magnum with loaded chamber indicator. Mounted with a Leupold VX-III 2.5-8 power scope. Made in the mid-80's. Classic finely checkered French Walnut stock with original Sako red pad, sculptured cheekpiece and palm swell.
This Sako looks to be an excellent working hunting big bore rifle. This gun looks to be only lightly used and any wear seems to be storage-related. The stock is in excellent shape with only a few light marks. The bluing shows a few light scratches an bit of localized pitting with flaking on the left hand side of the receiver and rear left of the barrel, see pics. The dropout floorplate and trigger guard show some similar scattered pitting/flaking as does the right front stock pin. Bore is excellent and shiny, bolt mechanics are immaculate!
