Description:
This Walther P-38 in 9mm is in amazing shape for its age! Gun retains virtually all of its original wartime blue finish, with just a few tiny areas of high edge wear on the slide. Original dark brown bakelite grips are phenomenal as well, with no scratches, chips, cracks, or gouges. Slide is stamped on the left side with "ac 43" manufacturer code, and on the right side with two eagle over 358 waffenamts and an eagle over swastika. All numbered parts correctly match, but interestingly the barrel has been force matched, with the original number X-ed out and the correct number applied. Bore is good, with strong rifling its entire length and just a bit of frosting throughout. Comes with one original wartime magazine marked with the "ac" code. A great shape P-38 that will be right at home in any WWII collection!
