Description:
Dixie Gun Works pedersoli 1874 target 45-70. 32” barrel , American walnut, schnabel forend with pedersoli USA 406 long range vernier with Hadley eyecup and pedersoli Gibbs globe front sight with sprit level windage adjustable. Comes with 2 insert cards and ladder rear sight also and front blade sight included. Couple of very minor dings that don’t show up in pictures, otherwise almost new.
Bought this one in April of this year to use at Quigley and that’s where it went. First time shooter and was totally unprepared for Montana but I did manage to hit all six targets, just not very often. No fault of this rifle, totally mine.
Anyway, while there I managed to get hold of a Shiloh sharps with an MVA series 3000 scope
mounted and since my eyes are 3/4’s of a century old, I believe next year I’ll be using the Shiloh.
Consequently, I need to sell the pedersoli. It is half octagon and round barrel. Shoots very well. Bore is clean, crisp, and shiny, trigger is excellent.
Not certain what shipping costs but I believe my local charges about $35 to send one to your gun store. Except California. Nobody wants that hassle and pretty much refuse to ship there
