Description:
Wood stock has petty wood grain.
Stock & forearm are in good condition, no cracks or chips.
Crescent metal buttplate.   

Barrel is marked SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL
Bluing is in good condition, with most remaining on the barrel, and with some fading on the tube
Receiver was case hardened, and only faint traces of case hardening can be seen.   

Bore is in great condition, bright, with good rifling.   

This gun is C&R eligible. Will require a 03 or 01 (or equivalent) FFL for transfer   

Marlin 1893 chambered in 38-55 with a 26" octagon barrel 
Overall length is approximately 44-3/4"
LOP is approximately 13"
