Description:
We are offering for sale a PRE-64 Winchester Model 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE lever action rifle chambered in 30 WCF caliber. This rifle remains in very good condition and is a perfect shooter!! Rifle was manufactured in 1925.
20” barrel remains in very good condition retaining the a large majority of original bluing with scatted wear, loss in places. Bore remains clean with strong rifling. Front blade sight and rear flip up sight are very good and factory original. The receiver is good with grey finish showing a wonderful brown patina towards the rear. The lever action functions flawlessly with tight lockup. The upper tang is marked “1894” under the rear flip up peep sight. The original stocks are very good without damage; Honest field wear present. Wood sits proud against metal. Original crescent buttplate intact showing age wear.
