Description:
This is an interesting little Marlin Model 1897 rifle in .22 L.R. It has deluxe wood with checkering, ivory bead front sight and a flip up tang rear sight. The barrel is half round and half octagon and looks like a bicycle model. The gun needs a little work as the lever will not open the action and the butt plate is missing. It would make a great rifle to restore as it has some nice features. I bought this gun many years ago to restore and never got around to it. Hopefully, someone else will finish the project. Selling it cheap. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $35 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
