Description:
1985 Colt Presidential Single Action Army. There was only one of these made for each President starting with Washington and ending with Reagan. This one is chambered in .45lc and has a 7 1/2'' barrel. It was engraved at the factory by FEGA Master Howard Dove with C level coverage. It features a gold inlaid protrate of President William McKinley on the left side of the frame. A gold inlaid depiction of the White House on the left side of the cylinder. A gold inlaid American flag of the period is on the right side of the cylinder. Thirteen gold inlaid stars border the rear of the cylinder. The back strap of the grip frame is engraved 25th President of the United States. This revolver also features a non fluted cylinder. The finish is Royal Blue with a gold plated backstrap, trigger guard, hammer, trigger, base pin, and ejector rod head. The grips are carved ivory with a scroll pattern and are fitted with a gold plated Great Seal of the United States medallions. It comes with a factory Ostrich leather case that is French fitted to fit the revolverand a complete set of ivory accessories which consist of a cleaning rod, oil bottle, two screwdrivers, a cleaning brush, and a patck box. Please note that the oil bottle has a split in the side. Also included is the original custom shop box numbered to the gun. This revolver is factory fired only. The finish is exceptional throughout. The ivory grips also remain in high condition.
