This Carbine's production date would be in 1944 or 1945. The Quality Hardware's serial number is QEX 7. The barrel is by Rock Ola. There is no barrel date. The bore is bright and sharp showing no real use. All of the parts are by Quality Hardware and are of the correct late features for this gun. The stock is a correct military stock that has no cut out for the sling and oiler. The wood is very fancy as you would expect for a presentation gun. These special serial numbered guns were presented to employees as gifts after final production or at the end of the War. This gun as stated has all correct late parts. The type two barrel band is original to this gun The round bolt shows very little use or being fired. All of the parts show correct wear and fit to each other. The magazine is a Quality Hardware coded magazine. This is a real stunning carbine with this fancy wood! These presentation guns seldom come up for sale! Here is a very nice condition Presentation Carbine that would be a stunning addition to anybody's collection!
