This Colt was produced in 1920. The pistol's serial number is C- 123379. This civilian model is on the standard Government frame. It is chambered for the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. This Colt is in all original condition as it was sent from the factory in 1920. The original barrel is correctly marked and is in very fine condition. The bore is bright and sharp. It has the high polish ejection port. The bluing on the rest of the barrel would rate a 97% condition. This pistol has the high polish charcoal blue finish. There is some light blue loss by the muzzle area. The original finish would rate a 97% overall condition! The front and back grip areas retain almost all of the blued finish. The original wood grips, diamond point checkering are almost all in sharp condition. There are some slight depressions on both panels due to bumping against something. The wood finish is fully intact. The original commercial two tone magazine is in near new condition. It has the correct high polish bottom floor plate. The action works very nice and is tight. This Colt is a high quality condition collectors grade pistol for the Colt collector! These early civillian model 1911's are highly sought for.
