Description:
A must-have for any fan of classic S&W revolvers, this .22/32 Heavy Frame Target is in great shape for its age! The serial number puts it a bit later than the "true Bekeart" range, but it exhibits all of the same features. The original oversized target grips are excellent, with very healthy checkering and just a few minor handling marks on the bottom of the butt but no chips, cracks, or gouges. Hammer and trigger both retain most of their vibrant case colors, and the balance of the gun's original blue finish is very nice, with just a little thinning at the muzzle and a few small handling marks here and there, and one shallow scratch on the sideplate. Cylinder is very clean, with the usual turn line. Bore is shiny, with strong rifling its entire length. The gold bead front sight is marked "W.F. Sheard" on the left side and "Tacoma Wash" on the right. Rear sight is intact and clean. A great example of one of the finest kit guns Smith & Wesson ever produced!
