SOLD Pending Funds / U.S. M.1881 Schofield Revolver Holster with Belt & Buckle, A black leather holster and belt, each with brass fittings. The holster is embossed on the front face with the letters ''US''. The center buckle of the belt is cast-in-relief with the Federal Eagle beneath ribbon reading ''E PLURIBUS UNUM'' and framed by a laurel wreath. Overall the holster rates very good, exhibiting moderate crackling throughout and loss of black due to flaking on the closing flap and belt loop. Green verdigris staining can be seen gathered around the brass fittings both inside and outside. The belt rates about very good, the brass buckles and fittings are mostly bright, scattered with areas of brown and ochre verdigris flecked occasionally by specks of green; the leather exhibits some scuffing at the edges and wrinkling and crazing across the outer face. The overall condition as described and photographed is good – good plus plus. Inv. : # US 4240
