SOLD! - ---- Here is the chance to own a highly desirable an otherwise unaffordable Winchester legend that would book for over $20 thousand if totally factory lettered. Check it for yourself. I purchased a clean all original 1876 rifle many years ago that had a bad barrel damage near the Muzzle. I had always wanted an 76 short rifle in the legendary .50 express – so I had this one coverted because it had no corrosion or wood damage or wear in the action . Barrel shortened to 22” – re chambered and rebored to 50 express – refinished and properly professionally remarked so as to be indistinguishable from a factory original. NO_ I did NOT use any Uberti replica parts - YES _ it is ALL original factroy 1876. It has been on my office wall for over thirty years collecting dust as one of my favorite toys –but it has to go. This old unique restoration only has some VERY minor flaws - not even handling arks.. It even has the correct .50 express dust cover. The pictures do NOT do it justice and I can provide more to a serious prospect. I’m letting it go for about what me cost me to create. You will LOVE It.
