The Alcione is one of Franchi's most popular O/U shotguns. Unlike many Italian O/Us, the Franchi pivots open on a full width cross-pin with a very large surface area where it meets the barrel hook, paired with a full width locking-bolt at the base of the action it's clear that this shotgun is made to last.
