Description:
Remington pre model 11 auto loading shotgun factory engraved in the highest grade Remington offered. It is an F grade with Quail, Ducks, and Grouse. Its a 2 barrel set. Long barrel is 28" marked Full choke solid rib with serial # 68307. The shorter barrel is a 24" Cylinder choke solid rib with serial #68307. The receiver has serial # 68307. All numbers match. All original wood with original instructions inside forearm. This once belonged to Remington employee W.M. Sloan who worked for Remington from 1937-1941. The furniture is all original and in near perfect condition. Very little wear visible. The bluing is 90%+. Both barrels are engraved to match the receiver. The safety is located inside the trigger guard referred to as the suicide safety. This was used in pre war years only. Hard to find a nicer example of an early high grade Remington Model 11.
