Beretta SO 4,Special Skeet, in Factory case with turn screws.
Super Top of Beretta line SO shotgun,28" Boehler Antinit steel, .016/..012,hand filed rib.
French Walnut with great color anf figure,hand checkered pistol grip stock, 14 1/4" LOP from single non selective trigger to lined butt, cast off just a bit 1/4" or so, right hand palm swell,DAC 1 3/8",DAC 2 1/4" .
Weighs 7 lbs ,7oz,balances right on the hinge pin. Elegant hand engraved-as all SO's are,3/4 pin Sidelocks.Still very tight opening and closing-face plate looks as if it was not fired much. Engraving is sharp, does have ,very lightly,3 initials on belly.
Comes in factory canvas/leather trimmed, case with 4 turn screws. Shows 1983 born date ("AL" code).
These SO 4's are just outstanding guns,screams quality,opening and closing trully like a bank vault.One like this will have many years of service left in it at a fraction of ording a new on ($29K for the SO5 that currently replaces the SO4) are real value in the curent market.
