Description:
Colt Bisley single action revolver. Circa 1901, chambered for the .38-40 (.38 WCF). 7 ½” barrel. This revolver is nearly mint! Barrel blue is 95%+ with just a few spots of muzzle wear and “ghosts” of thinning in spots. The cylinder has about 85% blue with a spot of pitting on one edge. Trigger guard and grip frame also retain over 95% original blue. The fire blue screws are nearly perfect. 95% case colors on the frame with some light rusting showing through the top right. Bore is perfect, grips are excellent and the mechanics are perfect. In 7 ½” the .38-40 is fairly scarce and quite desirable.
