Description:
Civil War, martially marked Remington New Model Army, .44 caliber, 8” barrel, six-shot percussion revolver produced in 1864.  It is serial range 848xx.

This particular revolver is completely matching with the serial number on barrel, on frame under left grip and rear of the cylinder.  It is an excellent condition Civil War Army with most of its original factory blue, nice metal, edges, very fine bore, good screws, and some case color remains on the hammer.  It has excellent walnut grips with a clear cartouche on the left grip.   It also has all sub-inspector marks and a very tight action.  The brass trigger guard has nice patina.  Overall this is a much better than average Remington Civil War issued Remington Army.

I am not a dealer.  Just looking to move some things out of collection to make room.  Unfortunately, I can’t have everything!
