Description:
Antique Winchester Model 1886 in desirable .45-90 caliber, 26” octagonal barrel, case hardened frame, crescent butt and full-length magazine tube. It is serial range 236xx.
This M1886 is early production, comes with factory letter and is in very nice overall condition. It has very fine metal and markings (without pitting). The barrel and magazine tube are an even plum color with blue throughout. There are traces of darkened-muted case colors on the receiver, lever and hammer. The bore is fine. The stock fit to the frame metal is excellent. It also has tight action.
Note: I am not a great photographer and pictures look a little washed out.
I am not a dealer. Just looking to move some things out of collection to make room. Unfortunately, I can’t have everything!
