Description:
This is a very nice example of a Model 1931 (K31), Swiss army straight pull bolt action rifle. All the serial numbers match. The Swiss managed to stay out of armed conflict during the service span of the K31. Therefore these rifles usually spent a lot of time in the rack and very little time being shot. The K31 was made with tight tolerances and excellent overall craftsmanship. Model 1931s are noted for their excellent accuracy and quality for a service rifle. The Swiss have always placed a premium on precise shooting, and the K31 was true to that tradition. Its effective range is 540 yards, and it is exceptionally accurate for an issue military rifle.
