Description:
This is the Smith & Wesson .22/32 Hand Ejector, commonly and otherwise known as the "Bekeart" Model (sometimes misspelled "Bekaert"), or sometimes even the .22/32 Heavy Frame Target. This gun, being serial numbered 492356 on both the front strap and the underside of the barrel, was likely made towards the late 1930's, with production of this model stopping in 1941.
This gun was conceived by Phil Bekeart and officially suggested to Smith & Wesson as a product using the 32 frame to make a target .22 revolver. After a couple prototypes and an initial purchase order by Bekeart to seal the deal, Smith & Wesson began production. This gun features the adjustable rear sight and white dot front sight.
This gun has some wear through the finish, particularly around the muzzle, the extractor rod, and the high edges of the gun. There is a small (about 1/8") ding on the left-hand side of the frame where it meets the barrel. Some small dings are scattered about on the barrel. Overall, this is a nice, vintage gun that would go well in a Smith & Wesson collection.

Shipping
We ship firearms via UPS. They must be sent to an FFL. Hand guns must travel via Air, whilst long guns and other items can go via Ground. Non-firearm accessories, such as magazines, can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at the customer's request. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions. If you'd like a shipping estimate, please contact us through the and provide, at the very least, a ZIP code as to where the item would be sent.
- If paying by credit card, store policy is to ship to the billing address of the card.
- If paying by Money Order, we can ship to wherever it's legal.
- The exception is, obviously, serialized items.
